Senior Financial Analyst

FloSports is looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our Finance team and work across departments and verticals to provide leadership with financial support, guidance, and analysis. This person will act as an internal consultant across the business to gather information, accurately produce forecasts and help decision makers make better data-driven, financial decisions. You will have tremendous exposure to all aspects of the annual budgeting, forecasting and monthly planning process. This position will report to our Director of Finance and Strategy and will be based in our Austin, Texas office.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the annual budgeting and monthly planning processes, working across departments to gather all information necessary to accurately forecast our business
  • Deliver monthly financials and actionable analyses to department heads to help guide decision support
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
  • Help departments and verticals track spend and make adjustments as necessary
  • Develop insights through analysis of actual results and reported variances to tell a story of the company's financial status and risks
  • Assist with investor relations and corporate FP&A projects
  • Prepare various financial reports and ad hoc analysis as requested
  • Respond to requests for financial/accounting information from all business functions

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • 1-3 years of investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or corporate FP&A experience
  • Advanced financial modeling experience
  • Ability to digest financial and operational data and subsequently communicate findings and action steps effectively
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business (Finance or Accounting a plus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
  • Team player and ability to collaborate with other departments
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to maintain the highest standard of integrity, accuracy and precision
  • Ability to independently prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
