Live Support NOC Technician - Orlando

FloSports is seeking a Live Support NOC Technician to provide technical support to help us quickly react to demand that will move us forward as America‚Äôs premier sports streaming company. We're experiencing rapid growth and seeing tremendous adoption of our products. Athletes and fans all over the world use FloSports to stay up to the minute on their sports news and events.

Your primary responsibility in this role will be to support FloSports' live events. The Live Support NOC Technician will coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure a smooth operation of all our live feeds. This position will require significant commitment during weekends (proportional time off during the week will be given to compensate time spent during weekends).


Applications must be able to commute (or relocate) to either our Austin, Texas headquarters or Orlando (Longwood), Florida branch office. Some work from home flexibility is permitted, but regular in office hours are required.


  • Provide front line support to the live production team
  • Oversee all quality aspects of live streams, including both proactive and on demand quality checks.
  • Lead the response to all troubleshooting efforts, including escalation and issue documentation.
  • Demonstrate skill at all tiers including technical expertise in TCP/IP networking, Mac OS X, RTMP, HLS, Linux server configuration, and other technologies as required. On the job training will be provided to help fill gaps if you're not familiar with all of these technologies.
  • Provide technical input, solutions, and recommendations to achieve rapid issue resolution as well contribute to the continuous improvement and evolution of the product.
  • Diagnose, as appropriate, complex systems issues with multiple influencing factors which may require interaction with third parties  to resolve problems.

Preferred (Not Required) Skills and Education

  • Associate degree or higher in any computer or technology related field of study
  • CCNA or other technical certifications
  • Experience in creating and maintaining external/internal monitoring tools
  • Experience with video technologies
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networks, and video streaming technologies would be a huge asset.

This is a full-time salaried position. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package. Salary will be based upon your level of experience. We are open to both long-time system/network administrators or entry level folks who are passionate and looking to break into the technology industry. On the job training and reimbursement is available to help you pick up those new skills and technologies that you may not have worked with before.
