Content Marketing Coordinator - FloWrestling

FloSports is seeking to hire a Content Marketing Coordinator (CMC) for FloWrestling in order to meet and exceed our traffic, social media and conversion goals.


FloWrestling streams hundreds of wrestling events live each year and provides the highest quality of exclusive content to die-hard wrestling fans. The CMC builds context and hype around our schedule of live events as well as leverages our exclusive content in order to improve customer acquisition and retention efforts.


The position is located in Austin, TX and reports to the FloWrestling Content Marketing Coordinator.




  • Scale the reach of our video assets via social media
  • Create content specifically for social media that is meant to maximize engagement and substantially increase the overall reach and relevance of the FloWrestling brand
  • Identify cross-promotional opportunities for FloWrestling content on other sites in the FloSports network and vice versa
  • Create and deploy email campaigns in accordance with the weekly email schedule
  • Attend live events to create social media content relevant to the community
  • Spearhead the distribution of NCAA wrestling content to sports information directors
  • Assist in executing various paid marketing campaigns
  • Assist in the research & development of seasonal storylines and content plans
  • Assist in weekly reports for campaigns, web traffic, social media, email, and conversions
  • Assist in manicuring website content
  • Ensure all copy fits our unique brand voice and style guidelines




  • Highly detail-oriented and takes satisfaction in double- and triple-checking his/her work
  • Knowledgeable about the sport of wrestling and has his/her finger on the pulse of the community we’re serving
  • Demonstrates the ability to hustle and execute directives provided by the FloWrestling Content Marketing Coordinator and others
  • Understands the value of social media and knows the right levers to pull to increase the visibility of content
  • Shows the ability to transition easily between the creative and analytical sides of marketing, with experience producing excellent work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent planning/organization skills with a proven ability to collaborate and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Superior copywriting, editing and proofing skills to ensure accuracy and excellence in all published material
  • Ability to develop new and innovative ideas and solutions with the follow through to execute on them
  • Bachelor’s degree required




  • Knowledge of video editing tools (Final Cut, Premier, Avid) is preferred
  • Knowledge of Facebook Power Editor is preferred
  • Knowledge of HTML, photo editing tools (e.g. Photoshop, Pixelmator)
  • Knowledge of analytics software (Google Analytics, KISSMetrics, etc.) is preferred
  • Knowledge of AP Style is preferred
  • Background in creating editorial and branded content
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and adaptable to change
  • Goal-driven with an eagerness to learn
